BC13 on TRL FTW

The other day I stumbled across this video of BrokeNCYDE's appearance on TRL. Yes, you read that correctly. I bet you are thinking the same things I did: 1. BrokeNCYDE was on TRL?! 2. They still make TRL?!?

Back in 1999 or so, when crowds of people waited in Times Square in hopes of being on camera for a few seconds, my ex was on TRL and even got to request a video on air! "Sweet," you're thinking, "she should have done something awesome like request the Fury of V video!" But not so fast: the producers made her say, "I wanna request 'Noookie' by Limp Bizkit because Fred Durst is an awesome director WOOO HOOO!!"

Anyhow, BC13's appearance itself is pretty unremarkable, but it's pretty fun to listen to the dumb girl sing along with "Freaxxx." As the video info notes, she just had a trach tube taken out of her throat so her voice is a little weird. I like to imagine her in the hospital the day before with the tube in her throat. She gets a text saying that BC13 is going to be on TRL, tears the tube and IV out, and walks right out the front door in her hospital gown like Mel Gibson would do in a Die Hard movie, pushing the orderlies out of the way when they're like "Hey! You can't just leave!!" You don't want to get between a chubby teenager and BrokeNCYDE, trust me.
