I was thinking it would be cool to take advantage of technology and "make this more of a conversation." With that in mind, I am starting a new section on SYWH entitled "WHAT DO U THINK" where I post some food for thought and you tell me what u think about it. The first question: Why do emo girls have big butts, even when they are skinny???
I was looking at some scene/emo hair blogs and came across this explanation of "what it means 2 b emo." It make me think about how I h8 that emo girls have skinny arms but big hips/wide butts. Skinny jeans only make it look worse.

Everyone is right and at the same time wrong on being emo. It's just the way the world works. See, everyone has their own opinions and no one should shut them up no matter what others think, or if they don't agree. It's just how the world works. Isn't that the whole point of trying to "find" you? To never hold anything back and always look for a you that you feel comfortable in, and all the people who call the others posers, how are you to judge that?
Everyone is still human, still people trying to find themselves in this image crazed world. It's true, no matter what shells you try on you're always going to be the same, no site on the internet can tell you who to be, but you make that choice to look at it and see if maybe you could try on that shell. That is you, the human that wants to appreciate and love their own body. You just gotta see the good and bad in it. Not just what you want to, but everything else that makes it.
I think it is important for girls to have shoulders that are wider than their hips, otherwise they look "hippy" and "made 4 birthing." Ew. I know a lot of dudes are into girls who are "curvy"/have some "junk in the trunk," but not this guy. What do u think??

As a fan of hip-hop, I'm pro-big butts. But as a fan of goth moshcore, I quite like the skinny scene girlz as well. So this combo sounds like it's ideal for me. Sadly, all the emo girls I've seen are either crazy skinny or all-over chubby. Where are u getting your data???? Should I just be going to a better class of party?

I am an equal opportunities guy. I'm a fan of the ultra-rail thin scene chick as I am the wide-hipped big-butt girls.
IndieFaceKillah is right though, scene chicks tend to be either skinny or chubby. Never any middle ground, which is a little odd. Even weirder/funnier is the ultra-fit-fuckable girls I knew while I was 16-18 are now huuuuuge washed up and overweight scene chicks with crappy tats and burnt hair who are entirely bitter at the new crop of skinny sexy scene chicks (I'm 22 for reference).

Tom: sadly, those washed-up 'scene whales' (ok, that's cruel, but whatever) that used to be so desirable are a horrible clue into the future of those sexy, skinny young Bring Me Blood On The Dancefloor fans. Soon enough, those hot young things will be covered with shitty tats, put on weight and get bitter and cruel at the new generation. Not to be a Gloomy Gus, but it's the circle of (scene) life... just like the Lion King taught us.

IFK, funny you should mention that-- when I was originally thinking about starting this blog, I jotted down a bunch of things I wanted to write about. One of them was Jason Statham movies! I will def do a post about him and how fucking rad that movie is.
Sadly I have only been with the chubby brand of scene chicks. I remember this one chick who had a body shaped like if you put a pillow into a black t-shirt with neon skulls on it. No boobs and no curves at all. There was another chick who, sitting down looked hot, but once she stood up, damn that ass was so wide. It was kind of un-nerving.
I think it was love at first sight in both cases, but scene love is not ment to last.

Only girls I date are skinny girls with big asses. Not really scene girls though, but really any youth subculture has a ton of girls with that body type- weird!
okay I know for a fact, there can be scene chicks that stay hot well into their 20's.
so you cant just put all of them into one group.
I remember that, in my high school years, there were only a couple of really hot girls among all the rubble, and everyone knew them because of that.
Now, almost all girls look fit to devourment, but the kids are, mostly, gay or emo (or both).

i my self am emo/scene and im niether ultra skinny nore chubby..i do see what u guys have gotten on to meain only hot ones are skinny and then the girls who arent perfectly skinny arent good enough and so u over look them..
