Listen to this track and it will be obvious why I said they might be the heaviest band on the planet
I am happy to report that DEMOLISHER, one of my favorite bands of the past few years, signed with none other than my favorite metal label CENTURY MEDIA! From the press release:
CENTURY MEDIA RECORDS has long been a champion of young bands and has established a reputation as one of the leaders in discovering new talent. Now the label has discovered the next act to add to it’s storied history. Chicago, IL bruisers DEMOLISHER have inked a worldwide deal with CENTURY MEDIA RECORDS. Once described as “the heaviest band on the planet” by MetalSucks writer Sergeant D, DEMOLISHER is set to take over the metal world in 2011 with the release of their debut full length offering, ‘Recognition’ this summer!
Pretty funny that made it into the press release- stay tuned for their upcoming full length and be sure to hit them up on Facebook!

EEEhhhhh… They’ve changed, this sounds too much like Oceano now. That and the guitar tone isn’t as heavy anymore.
I actually kind of agree… I liked the EP better :( I also liked the Monsters demo better than their full-length, but whatever, stoked.

lol, i saw these guys play at a small local venue last year. they were BAD ! it was completely incompetent and feather light. I love that the only way for these bands to actually be heavy is in a modern, over-polished studio context. I’m completely astounded that century media picked them up (Which is a shit label) considering how unbelievably generic they are. I thought deathcore was dying out, but these guys keep churning out the shit. I guess thats what sells. But seriously, gimme a fucking break sarge, this is NOT new or heavy by any means. how is this any different from all the other Acacia Strain/Oceano rip offs ?
Well, to be honest I liked the EP better– it is fucking CRUSHING. If you don’t like deathcore you won’t be into it, but it is definitely a cut above the rest of the genre.
CM is hands down the most honest, helpful, friendly label I have ever dealt with, so they get a big thumb up in my book.
Catch this grenade this new D.release.Demolisher is still pounding heavy … perhaps you(goes to anonymous ) should chance your speakers into modern and over-polished or turn volume up^^ (just my opinion/taste)..
cant wait to hear the new demolisher stuff
