I’ve spent the entire week jerkin- at work, in the car, the gym, everywhere I go all I can think about is jerkin! For those who aren’t familiar, jerkin is the style of dancing popularized by all those rap groups from Southern California who wear neon skinny jeans and Pierce The Veil shirts that you see in Jason Derulo videos. “You’re A Jerk” by New Boyz is probably the most popular song in the genre. I think it peaked in the summer of 2009 and is mostly dead now, so you can give me a late pass if you want.
Either way, since I’ve been listening to almost nothing but jerkin music this week, in this post I will share some of my favorite tracks in the genre so you can jerk as much as I do!
Sick new jerkin song, featuring one of the best lines I have ever heard in a rap song, “It smells like pubes all around my dick.” Not really sure who still has pubes in 2011, but it’s a pretty sweet line regardless!
This is maybe my favorite jerkin song, “Tippin On My Dick.” Really think this would have top 40 potential with a little more polished production. YT has that swagger, and there is no better jerkin producer than JHawk.
This is two classic jerkin songs in one: Red Duce “Shake My Ass” and Stakk Money “Dorkin.” Stakk Money refers to himself as “duffel bag music.” Not sure what that means, but it sounds like a pretty sweet genre!
I love songs that are about how a girl wants boys to think about having have sex with her, and does a lot of slutty things to get their attention. For example this chorus: “my cookie makes all the boyz wanna jerk.”
Wearing skinny jeans is apparently a very important part of the jerkin movement- so much so that there are several songs that are about them. Wonder if there will ever be a song about jeggings?
This song is called “Skinny Ass Nigga,” and it is about how he is a skinny ass nigga who wears skinny ass jeans.
The bass in this song is so low and filthy that it sounds almost like Napalm Death “Scum” (srs)

I know they’re not jerkers, but they straight ripped Mikey’s style and Chuck’s beats. They just added some bullshit Soulja dance-by-numbers. They even mention “even the cool kids wanna be the new boyz now” in their lyrics or something.
I’m just saying it must feel bad to get your style bit by 16 year olds who diss you.
