Broadway is one of my favorite bands. They have what I would consider a permanent position in my top 3–but I am reconsidering. Because they are pissing me the fuck off.
reason 1: (that I just realized as I was googling for a picture of those fools) it’s fucking hard to find them ANYWHERE cause of their goddamn generic band name: google, myspace, facebook, youtube, ect. I keep getting fucking showtunes and shit. (So in retaliation for them choosing a shitty band name I chose a ghey picture of them for this post.)

I would be mad that they held up releasing their first album to add Jonny Craig and Craig Owens onto it… but I fucking love those guys, so I’ll forgive them. But I swear to god if it was anyone else I woulda been pissed as phuck.
2: I’m also mad because every fucking time I’m excited for them to finally do a show in my state they cancel the fucking tour. -.-

But the final straw is their latest disappointment: Gentlemen’s Brawl.
Which they said on January 8th that they would release the first week in March. Three weeks after the original release date, March 23rd, they tell us that the album isn’t even finished, but it will be within a week and when it’s done they’ll give us a release date. One month and four days later, the day I’m writing this, they have still given us nothing.
(if you’re wondering how I know the exact date of these things it’s because I’m stalking their facebook page. And Misha’s Twitter where he complains about kids complaining about them not giving us the things they promise.)
So, the overarching reason that I MAD: they make me promises and build up my hopes just so that they can dissappoint me. Yeah, I know they’re having “issues” with the new album and all and I’d forgive them for that… if it didn’t happen all the fucking time with these guys.
A proverb for Broadway: If you don’t have something to say that you can actually live up to then don’t say anything at all.

I liked these guys, new album was probably going to be good, and in their defense they did lose their label and pretty much all their backing once of them just had to leave to start a Sleepy Sirens band.
He’s supposedly still in both bands =/ but that is another issue–most of the members have other projects they’re involved in so they don’t seem very committed to Broadway sadsadsadface
Jake Garland is a member of both Broadway and Memphis May Fire. Jack Fowler is part of Broadway and Sleeping with Sirens.

broadway is def one of my favorite bands. they’re so good. and the guitarist is in sleeping with sirens and theyre another favorite band of mine because of the guitar and kellin quinn’s vocals. so when broadway drops another album I’ll be there like I would for a sleeping with sirens’ album.
I know I’m really stoked for their new album and I will actually BUY it cause I love them so much… but my patience wears thin. Quite thin indeed.
