I’m not going to write much about this band because gossiping about them can be bad for your health, but if you missed out on Fury of Five back in the 90s, you missed out on some of the most epic hardcore of all time, no joke.
Obviously this video is kinda dated in a late 90s, Jersey Shore kinda way (straight out of Asbury Park) but fuck… if this song doesn’t make you want to beat someone to death with your bare hands, we’re not friends! The breakdown at 3:00 is one of the hardest of all time.
Post-Fury band “Boxcutter.” SO. FUCKING. HARD. To this day I’m not sure I have heard anything more ignorant and brutal, or anything that makes me want to commit murder more than this track.
FURY/BOXCUTTER = THIS IS FUCKING HARDCORE, brahs- no lyrics about politics, girls, being sad, or any other wack, fruity bullshit, just one mosh riff after the next with lyrics about dominating weak motherfuckers.
Fucking love this band and everything associated with it. If you ain’t read it, curl up with these I$mean interviews. Tip of the fucking iceberg: “We used to roll around with an Equalizer bag, which was a guitar bag, it was a soft case guitar bag that we’d have bats in, swords, weapons, and we’d bring it everywhere we went.”
