I used to make fun of SUFFOKATE all the time because, well, they are awful, generic, C-level deathcore and the singer has the most retarded sickest gauges ever. Or should I say WERE, because it turns out that their new album is pretty fucking sweet! (But don’t worry Tumblrsluts, his gauges are still siqq as fuk)
Not ashamed to say that I have listened to this song like 4 times in a row at the gym; it’s that rare combination of brutal and super catchy that so few deathcore bands are able to find. Srs, this is as good as the genre gets IMO; I am mirin their progression!
Oh and DEM LYRICS! They could easily make a different Impact font shirt or meaningful-Tumblr-lyric-graphic from every line: “I see no miracles,” “I don’t believe in hope I just believe in pain,” “I am a series of small victories and large defeats,” etc. You have to admire their marketing savvy, so much Tumblr fodder in just this one song!!!

I’d say it’s a step up but still not a fan, artwork is amazing though, Grindesign is a fucking wizard.

I remember they played in my town a few years back. Ol’ dudes first mosh call was “FUCKING HIT SOMEBODY” or something along those lines. He then proceeded to get butthurt and stop the song when some guy actually did what he said. Needless to say, I was VERY confused.
