If you’ve been around the scene for a while, you’ve seen how there are bands who get pretty big, but struggle to break through to the next level. It’s hard to see them toil away year after year, watching their frustration mount as they keep hitting the scene glass ceiling. Wat do??
IMO, the key to becoming The Next Big thing is a successful gimmick: Skrillex’ haircut, Winds of Plague has interchangeable keyboardists who get naked on the internet, and Killswitch had a black guy in the band. What about EMMURE, who seem poised for mnstrm success??? Since they seem to write a lot of songs about it, I suggest they adopt CUCKOLDING as their gimmick! (For those who don’t know, cuckolding is when you get off on watching your girl get fucked by another guy)
