I have posted this before, and I apologize for repeating myself, but sometimes a man has to say what believes. Sometimes saying it once isn’t enough when you are speaking truth to power. And the truth is that this video is criminally underappreciated!
Obviously just about aspect of this video is hilarious and amazing, but the most incredible part IMO is that I’ve been watching this for 6 years now, and I’m still not sure how srs it is. The fact that this video only has 26,000 views is a tragedy on the level of Lindsay Lohan not showing her pussy when she was in Playboy. If anything, I think it’s because they were way, WAY ahead of their time- if this came out in 2012 it would be heralded as a visionary, post-modern parody of shitty metalcore. At the very least, it should be as popular as that stupid “Wifebeater” video or whatever.

Remember reading a discussion on some metal website about the possibility of Powercore being the next big thing. Turns out it had already happened. Everything about this video is great, it’s srsly a shame that they didn’t blow up and become the next big thing.

i love you got served. i caught the ‘sequel,’ stomp the yard, on tv once and it was actually kind of a beautiful movie. i can’t remember if there were any moments where the guys slide on their foreheads but seriously, there’s like slow-motion backflips set to explosions in the sky-knock off post rock.
