It’s not betawhiteknightphggt, but it is very entry-level and foolish. Of course, if you ever actually do see a dude randomly attack some girl out of the blue, he definitely deserves a beatdown. But in the 1000+ hardcore shows I’ve been to over the past 20 years, I have never seen that happen.
While it may seem like you are rushing to the aid of a damsel in distress, let me explain what is actually happening here. As we have discussed before, male attention is like oxygen to young girls; they crave it more than anything else. For most of them, it’s enough to simply dress a little slutty, pretend to like metal/hardcore and watch as dudes put them on a pedestal, tell them how special they are, and generally kiss their ass. But for the especially crazy, damaged ones, that’s not enough.

For S-rank crazy bishes, their thirst for male attention is only sated when they can manipulate dudes like the robots in REAL STEEL… that amazing feel when they you actually get guys to fight each other!! It’s easy to do at hardcore shows: just stand at the edge of the dance floor, wait until someone accidentally bumps into you, then instantly get super aggro and confrontational. If that’s not enough to provoke a confrontation, hit him. Then just stand back and watch as your robots hit each other, each one trying to prove that he is your knight in shining armor.
So if you want to get in fights because some girl accidentally-on-purpose put herself in harm’s way, go for it! Good luck with your being a dramatic Tumblrslut’s puppet goals for 2012.

Saw a skinhead chick doing this at a Melvins show of all places. She’d get real aggro and when dudes would be like “WTF?” her big ass skinhead boyfriend would go up and fight them. Luckily, there was a happy ending: three or four stoner dudes ended up beating the shit out of this skinhead dude later on in the night while his girlfriend went and got the bouncer. The bouncer just threw the skinhead dude out. Also, I’d be lying if I said I didn’t give the skinhead dude a well-deserved kick to the head or two.

Shows in Dallas used to be plagued with female drama bullshit back when the scene was mostly a bunch of skinny white knight metalcore fggts, ever since around 2010-, shows have gotten so aggro and violent I hardly ever see chicks go into the pit anymore.
