Srs doe, Jake is a really good vocalist and this is tight. They sounds way more polished than their first record, and they’re only like 18 years old. I’m pretty sure the best music I made when I was that age was recording a couple Black Flag riffs on a boom box in my bedroom, so I am fucking impressed. They have the ability for sure! Looking forward to the next record, and hoping they use the platform they’ve been given to address the topic we’ve all been waiting for them to sound off on: SCUM SLUTS.

I can dig that it’s under two minutes. A lot of metalcore bands feel the need to make incredibly long verse-chorus-verse-chorus-breakdown-chorus songs, whereas this is straight to the point. I do feel some srscore undertones, but I’m not complaining because I eat that shit up.
Honestly, bands like Defiler and Your Weight In Gold srsly make me excited that people born well after me are making such awesome music at such a young age. Not trying to sound like a fggt, but I get a warm and fuzzy feeling knowing that somewhere around the world (and in my home state), awesome kids are still doing it right and not succumbing to being pretentious twits (or at least not yet, anyway).
