  5. wiggles says:

my jaw in-actual-reality dropped when the last part kicked in. MOAR

    • ge5undhe17 says:

I can also imagine godzilla being shoryukened in slow motion when the last part kicked in

      IT’S BEAUTIFUL

  6. inb4skillz says:

Is this in G? Or even lower? Jeesus

    • nimplysaked says:

Pretty much every band that plays with 8-strings tunes lower than G, brah. I have not heard of bands tuning lower than E (a whole octave), although I’m sure this will soon happen

  7. Sly says:

arent they just tempo/pitch-shifting it down in protools or whatever, like you can hear the drum hits getting longer. you could pitch shift it down without a tempo change though

U GUYS WANNA TALK ABOUT STUDIO GEAR?????

  8. RRtee says:

  10. Negrodamus says:

what the fucking dick skin? how is it so low, so slow, so lovely? it has the ability

  11. Keka says:

Middle bit sounds kinda Admiral Angry/Black Sheep Wall ish. Either way, mirin that confusion between bass and regular guitars.

  12. Godeye says:

    Guitarfaggotry begins
The first bit is an E, an octave lower than standard. After that, it goes down to B (that’s an octave lower than what Suffocation uses), and after that, it’s fuck if I know, is that even a note? I think these are called contra tunings or something, so like “contra drop B, contra drop omega, contra drop balls” etc
    Guitarfaggotry ends

  13. tweeed says:

without the context of a ‘song’, how is this any different than general guitarphggt wanking? I mean, isnt ‘look how slow i play in this nondiscernable tuning’ pretty much the same as ‘look how fast I can move up and down the fretboard’?

not really hating cuz this jamz but i can appreciate a breakdown so much more in the context of a song

  14. Hypefreecollin says:

HA nice this is pretty much the first thing I made in Garageband first time I ever messed with it in 2006 too

  15. tickle says:

no doubts in my mind that the new Acacia Strain album will have at LEAST 1 part like this.

  16. debbie says:

The bass I’m pretty sure is Drop G on a 5 string bass. I know some of the trendy kids drop their lower B to G. The track lacks a bass drop imo.

  17. JTD says:

Thanks fer blowign out my speakres asshole…….

  18. limbface says:

  19. mynameisntleo says:

  20. sxe_loser says:

am i the only person that doesnt like this kind of guitar tone? its still heavy but i prefer a ‘dirtier’ tone. Recon’s Welcome to Viper City has my favorite guitar tone of all time .
