There are some girls who genuinely disregard nice guys and acquire douchebags, but the nice guy should realise from this behaviour that she is a stupid bitch and not the heavenly-bless goddess he thinks she is. My guess is that the obnoxious is failed humor, which is completely forgivable considering her solid ratio of funny/not funny. That “supermodel chick that’s totally out of your level” might have been nice enough at some point to make you or any man think she might actually like you, because, hey you’re a nice guy after all. The moment you suddenly feel like there might be a chance, every aspect of logical thinking is out the window so it’s easy to be a jerk and say “dude she’s like, totally not into you”, but it works for both genders really.
