This is Kim Petras, she’s a German teenage girl trying to be a pop star. She’s still relatively unknown, but if you listen to this chill garage band made jam I think its pretty clear she’s gotta a lot a of talent. I mean, Calvin Harris made a fucking A+ song on his own for Rihanna, but of all the covers I’ve heard this one got stuck in my head the hardest. I don’t know how she managed to sound that good out of just backing herself up on garageband, that shit is mad impressive to me, via always wanting to be in an acapella group but never being a good enough singer to even be the background guy:(
But she kills it again, and this is just by herself. Get her a German producer who’s crazy good and try some stuff like this and you got mad Euro hits for days. Then eventually one that crosses over here, then we never hear from her again.
I don’t like many of her originals, but this one is pretty solid. Its like three years old when she was young so she’s obviously a lot better now, not even good enough to embed in the post tho really. And wikipedia says she’s on some German label so she’ll probably put out a couple actually really good dance jams soon. Got high hopes!
Here’s her most recent one, a song I’ve heard on the radio but had no idea was by Demi, I gotta get with the times. But she murders this shit for real, Demi’s probably watching and bein all like ‘alright girl, I see you. let’s see if you can get a Disney show and ditch it cause you’re too big for that now.’ Her youtube page has a bunch more like this and other ish. Girl keeps gettin better, she’ll definitely be able to get huge in Europe at least, I mean, it can’t be that hard, bein Europe and all.
Oh and by the way, she’s also the world’s youngest transsexual. That’s pretty interesting.
