Lil B’s “California Boy” is the catchiest song of the decade.

Lil B the BasedGod has done it again. In 2012 Lil B not only dropped some straight up bangers, but he also put out a massive 800+ song mixtape. The BasedGod is out to make history again with his first ever rock song.

Just listen to this song. The lyrics, the music itself. Its just a beautiful and Based song. It really doesn’t get any better than this. This is a song that NEEDS to be played on radio. The song is 666 times catchier than “Call Me Maybe” and since this was made by a black person, white people will devour it.

This is just the first single from the his all rock album also titled California Boy.

What do you think of this amazing song? Will Lil B become a superstar? Has rock music changed forever?

Thank You Based God for this song.

once again, lil b does something way more important than actually making a song: he has successfully generated another tool specifically designed to collectively ache the internet’s angus hole. love this guy.

  5. nucleardeterrence says:

    Very rare song. #TYBG #CNBFTBGB #LILBISMYFRIEND2012

But srsly, I non-ironically love everything I’ve ever heard by this dude, and this song is no exception. Strong Dinosaur Jr. vibes.

  6. RickRoss says:

lil b changed my life. stay based.

  7. Dogboy says:

ironically, first lil b song i didn’t like ironically. how the fuck does this guy make money? anyone know? his mixtapes are free, he put an album on itunes then gave it away for free just a few hours later, he doesn’t tour extensively, just curious how he pays his way.

  8. Manuwar says:

I thought this song was gonna be nu-dubstep but im very pleassed with the results.
    Gracias Dios Basado.

  9. nyk3 says:

Emailed him about writing a song about me, he responded.

He is good and lovely. He has the ability.

i want to talk about his ‘band’ for a minute. they don’t look the least bit stoked to be workin with Based God, but that might be because they are the worst combination of indyfggt and IMN i’ve ever seen, with a little late 90′s OC hxc bowling shirts thrown it.

    • cmoney says:

meh, someone above mentioned a Dinosaur Jr vibe, and this band looks exactly like all the bands out of the early 90s alternative scene. I’m pretty sure they’re really stoked a relevant musician approached them to “write a song that could be on the Empire Records soundtrack.”

  11. aneurofag says:

Man, i actually do love this stuff. I’d rather have that on the radio than ‘call me maybe’, which was plain fuckin annoying to listen to when you’re waiting in line to buy stuff at the store after work and just want to be home.

  12. Wes Borland says:

I was smilin’ the whole time I was listening to this.

  14. Walker says:

Mind = obliterated. thought this was going to be a terrible nu-metal song, turned out to be the most advanced piece of music since John Cage 4’33.

PRAYING HE IS SMANGING DAT GURL EVERY NIGHT / secretly curious if Lil B has some oddly specific ‘basic bitches from the suburbs with blonde hair who dress super normal and are probably really chill and like stupid shows on TLC’ fetish.
