UNDER SPINNING LIGHTS
the members of under spinning lights came together for a common goal, their goal was to create the most epic music conceivable and change the lives of ppl who listen to it. considering this song changed my life back when i first heard it back in may of 2011, i would say the band has accomplished their goal. epic, beautiful, immaculate, just a few words u would use while describe the song “moment like this” by under spinning lights.
WAY TOO SERIOUS
the melodies.. and harmonies… all perfectly synchronized. all the members come together in perfect unison creating one of the most memorable underground neon pop songs ever made in history. also notice the guitar solo near the end and how its alot better than alot of solos u hear in metal bands. thats cause members of neon scene pop bands are among some of the most talented musicians.
MECHANICAL KIDS
considering that most members of neon pop bands are PPUAs (professional pick up artists) who could seduce even though most beautiful of girls with the slightest of ease, its no surprise this song is about picking up chicks. this band was signed to universal (like ftsk), proving that the best bands get signed to major labels and the less good bands are signed to independents.
FRIDAY NIGHT FEVER
most neon pop bands are known for their amazing song writing capabilities, and friday night fever are no exception. this song is packed with many unexpected twists and turns that are sure to keep u on the edge of ur seat.imo it really captures the essence of art and beauty in its purest and truest form.
ALL NIGHT DYNAMITE
these are some bros that were clearly influenced by CASH CASH, and much like their forefathers before them, the 80′s vibe is very strong. this is the type of song that brightens ur mood and makes u feel good just by listening to it. all thanks to the power of neon. this thereby concludes our journey through the wonderful of neon-pop, i hope u enjoyed ur tour.

I feel like there is an inherent sexual orientation difference between hearing soulful men like Marvin and Barry singing about mackin on the ladies and some twinks singing about picking up chicks at the ice cream social. Or maybe this is just too white for me.
Fact is the amount of vaginal moisture these bands cause is freaking incredible. To the untrained eye they all look like twinks (wheres the power bottom?) but in reality they get more girls than I ever will.
I’ve been to some of these shows (like the epic CASH CASH/MERCY MERCEDES/THE CAB tour in 09 or so) and it is literally just wall-to-wall 10/10 jailbait. no joke.

The music is pretty good although all the bands sound basically identical to each other. Not that its much of a problem, if its good its good, and good it is.

Friday Night Fever reminded me of Panic at the Disco’s great first album, man that had jams.
These generally just remind me of sad opening electro bands of like one to two dudes that would open shows I’d go see and always kind of suck and never have it together to be cute or play their songs right. Nostalgiabummed.
really? i LOVE friday night fever and i never came close to liking panic at the disco but to be fair i probably havent heard too much of their stuff, just the more popular songs. i just never thought they would be associated with this style of music.

This is such an awesome and underrated genre of music– I seriously think uppercut613 and I are like the only people on the internet that even remember any of these bands, let alone think of them this highly.
