IDK if any of you bros remember, but last year YOUR DEMISE put out an album called The Golden Age, which polarized critics and tenderized butts the world over. It was a big divergence from their old sound, which I’ve always been a fan of. They even somehow managed to create their own weird genre called “Hoobastankcore“. I don’t understand why Bands These Days are all turning into hard rock, it’s pretty groce, but I guess Euros gonna Euro, right?

As you can imagine, the change didn’t go down too well with the band’s original fans, via hardcore kids generally being a picky bunch of entitled whingers who complain about every band’s new album for a few years before declaring it a tr00 seminal classic. Anyways, I’m happy to say that YD has a sick new song out called Karma, and it goes hard!
According to the bastion of truth and wisdom we know as “The Youtube Comments”, everyone seems pretty stoked that they don’t sound like hard rock for 38 year olds who want to “rly rock out because it’s totally possible to be cool AND a dad” anymore. I am also pretty excited about this new kind of BLEH that I’m hearing at 1:52, which I can only assume is due to the British having such poor dental hygeine that it comes out as YYLEH!!! Also everything from 2:06 onwards is very Classic YD, and I am moshing. I am really looking forward to their upcoming EP Cold Chillin’ (awesome name) with a glimmer of hope in my eye, the hope that we might get our favourite StreetwearCore band back!!!
