Since I work with plenty of 18 and 19 year olds now I just wanted to say: alot of kidsthesedays call anything with loud vox “screamo” and there actually a lot of pasty 100lb white kids with AA shirt/skinny jean/osiris-based wardrobes who like to talk to each other about “metal”. A kid in my class has a “punk vest” with a bunch of totally unrelated punk and crossover patches from vastly different eras and wears deathcore shirts and a double wallet chain, it’s srs the cutest thing ever.
