Crowbar fucking rules, how is it baffling that kids like them?
I think they’ve always had a small following among hardcore kids, along with Pantera/Down/Eyehategod but them got more popular aamong that demographic recently
I remember going to see Eyehategod at a placed called Coney Island High in the ’90s and it was mostly metalheads and what some would call “hipster metalheads” today. There was even a dude breakdancing during one the songs!
This story rules, and stories like this are one of the many things making SYWH great

Because Crowbar and EHG even moreso are pretty much coming from a completely different place attitude-wise than the bands on the standard pseudojock hardcore kid’s playlist and you generally did not see those kind of kids showing up at EHG shows.
