I never got the fear of Pennywise. Tim Curry is too fucking hilarious in that role to be taken as scary. The shit he does in the library or w/e is Grade A comedy.

has anybody seen this one? i had heard really good things about it but i was fairly disappointed. it's definitely got some great moments and is very well made but it just isn't very scary at all. and i can definitely get on board with horror movies that aren't that scary--i love the orphanage despite only feeling scared only once or twice because it's just a great story and it was extremely well made, but i just didn't get that feel from the inkeepers. definitely bummed :(

Yeah bro, Ti West is really good at building suspense but retarded at actually delivering the scares. Didn't like the Orphanage, was so bad it made Don't Be Afraid of the Dark look like a work of genius.

I never saw the movie and can't say anything about if its scary or not, but when I read the book a few months ago, I was had a horrible feeling that somebody was gonna tap me on the shoulder while I was sleeping, and I'd turn around and see a clown who would then proceed to eat me. Ended up sleeping on my parents bedroom floor once cuz I was too scared to sleep alone. So beta.

Inkeepers was a huge let down. Upset I watched the whole thing. Have you seen the Devil's Backbone? It's a better version of the Orphanage made Guillermo Del Toro before he starte making all of his american hollywood blockbusters. Well, I think he did Mimic before it, but was Mimic a Blockbuster? anyway Devils Backbone is a period ghost story that takes place in an orphanage.

wifes mad, i think period ghost is haunting her again
if you ever find yourself doing a tequila shot you have to put salt between you thumb and index finger, then lick it, then take the shot and then bite into a lemon. the bar will provide lemon and salt. that's what they do in australia anyway.

watched this last night with some friends. definitely wasn't brilliant by any means, but had a few nice scares and some pretty cool ideas. it's on netflix so definitely worth your time if you're just looking for something fun and kinda creepy to watch with friends or a girl or whatever.

there's also a trailer out for a sequel that looks about the same quality.

Also, baqtard on V/H/S. Honestly one of the best horror films I've seen in a while. I actually wouldn't mind it being the next Paranormal Activity.
