Never listened to ATL before. Wish that song was ever so slightly less poppy, but still pretty good.

EDIT: Listened to that ATL song a few more times, and started to really like it. Checked out more of their stuff, and its surprisingly good.

Saw these bros live, super chill, joked with the guitar player about anal haircare, tour sluts, etc.

There was a pretty sweet band in the old thread but I don't remember what they were called. I remember somebody posted them and said their easycore status was questionable or something like that. Can someone help me? Pls respond

anybody like the ataris? i really dig their album so long, astoria. never really listened to any of their other shit and their lyrics are kinda gay sometimes and the fact that they covered boys of summer is pretty funny to me but they're really catchy and seem really earnest and stuff. idk. i like em. whatever.

Yeah dude, So Long Astoria was my 9th grade jam. I still really love that album. Listening to any The Ataris stuff these days is a little underwhelming, but they def have a special place in my stupid teenage memories <3

Checked them out, its decent, but nothing spectacular; the kind of stuff you would need some nostalgia to really back in 2012.. Lyrics kind of bum me out though, via being about how high school is the greatest thing ever and the rest of your life will suck. Stuff like that depresses me.

yeah, i can def understand the nostalgia factor. back in late elementary/middle school my older cousin who i thought was the coolest kid in the universe was way into the ataris and taking back sunday, another band that i can really dig still. takes me back to simpler times i guess haha.
